EASY MEZZE
Enjoy a fun and casual lunch with Ellen Straine. This 2 hour event includes lunch, wine samplings, and a demonstration of unique Mediterranean bites! Our instructor, Ellen, will walk you through the steps of building a beautiful mezze platter with several small dishes that compliment each other, including roasted red pepper hummus with pita chips & fresh veggies, assorted olives, fig jam, feta cheese with olive oil and fresh herbs, mini falafel sandwiches, tabbouleh, marinated chicken skewers, grilled sausage, and sweet ricotta and strawberry parfaits topped with crushed amaretti cookies for dessert. Once you learn a few basics, you’ll be ready to impress your guests at your next summer gathering. Advanced tickets required.

Ellen has been a food stylist since 1993. She grows vegetables, herbs, and flowers in her backyard gardens that often appear in her work. Using her experience and culinary creativity, she has styled food for advertising, cookbooks, menus, magazines, billboards, television, social media, and packaging. She lives in Scottsdale, Arizona, with her husband Jeff and their seven rescue dogs: Tootsie, Sparky, Stinkerbelle, Buddy, Wrigley, Angus, and Ozzy.
